It's almost springtime , and we just can't wait. We've enjoyed the rainy weather change of pace, but enough is enough already! We've had a busy winter with meetings, the holidays, and  working hard to complete our newest product.  We've been  working on it for about a year,  and we officially released BioZip II  at ASCB in December.  The other product we're excited about this year is the CARV II LX. This new instrument offers full spectrum white light as well as laser, spinning disk confocality in one instrument. We have our demo unit set up at the office. Be sure to arrange a time to get a demonstration.

We have a new member of the BioImaging team. Baggi Somasundaram comes to us with  a lot of enthusiasm, imaging experience, as well as a product marketing background. We've known him for many years, He will  be conducting sales in the San Diego / Riverside area and help to bring to market our BioImaging specialty products.  Baggi and his family have been in the San Diego area for about a year now, and really don't miss dealing with  the Maryland Winter snows. We all look forward to working with Baggi as he gets familiar with our company and his new territory.

We moved into our new location off Camino Santa Fe (near Miramar Road)  from our previous Sorrento Valley facility, and we are fairly well settled in.  We welcome you to stop by and say hello, and check out our new place. Who We Are

For more than a decade I've been providing imaging solutions to the local research community, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies throughout southern California. I came to realize that there was something missing in the way digital imaging was being provided. This had to do both with pre-sales consultations as well as post-sales, on-going service offered to the customers in this biomedical industry. My initial experience in imaging began by applying my college degree to biological research at UCD, then at UCSD and VAH for almost ten years before entering the business side of this industry. I believe this background has helped me to understand from the customer's perspective not only the scientific applications, but also the special needs of the customer trying to understand this technology as it applies to his research needs.

We've built BioImaging Solutions with a few key individuals along with the support of several great manufacturers who provide not only the best products and services, but also act as resources for us by continually adding to our expanding knowledge of camera technologies, image analysis software, peripheral automation, and confocals. In my years of service to the scientific community I have not seen a company quite like ours, and I'm proud to be the first to offer our services to anyone in search of a better way. If you're considering adding a digital imaging system to your lab or simply upgrading an exisiting system, call on us, we will do our best to help you.
