What's NEW!

In January we moved to our new location off Miramar Road from Sorrento Valley, and we are getting settled in.  We welcome you to stop by and say hello, and check out our new place. As before, you can set up an appointment to discuss you current application needs, get a demonstration on any of the equipment we have, or to evaluate any of the software packages we offer.  If you're browsing the our website, be sure to check under  Products, we've added a few new ones under the  Specialty section.  We're excited about releasing our new DimScan product at the upcoming April AACR meeting in Colorado. We've added a couple new people to the company, and want to welcome them. When you call in to the office, you'll reach Sasan Naghavian. He will be happy to assist you with your customer service questions and forward them as necessary to the appropriate person. He helps out a lot inside with database maintenance, shipping and receiving, as well as other administrative duties.  If you are in the San Diego or  Riverside areas, you'll get a chance to meet our newest salesperson, Damara Gebauer. She comes to us from the biotechnology industry with a MA in Biotechnology, Columbia University.  I'm sure you'll be seeing her around over the next several months as she gets acquainted with the territory . She is quickly coming up to speed on our many products and services .

Who We Are

For more than a decade I've been providing imaging solutions to the local research community, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies throughout southern California. I came to realize that there was something missing in the way digital imaging was being provided. This had to do both with pre-sales consultations as well as post-sales, on-going service offered to the customers in this biomedical industry. My initial experience in imaging began by applying my college degree to biological research at UCD, then at UCSD and VAH for almost ten years before entering the business side of this industry. I believe this background has helped me to understand from the customer's perspective not only the scientific applications, but also the special needs of the customer trying to understand this technology as it applies to his research needs.

We've built BioImaging Solutions with a few key individuals along with the support of several great manufacturers who provide not only the best products and services, but also act as resources for us by continually adding to our expanding knowledge of camera technologies, image analysis software, peripheral automation, and confocals. In my years of service to the scientific community I have not seen a company quite like ours, and I'm proud to be the first to offer our services to anyone in search of a better way. If you're considering adding a digital imaging system to your lab or simply upgrading an exisiting system, call on us, we will do our best to help you.
