  • Digital Cameras

Photometrics has always manufactured high performance scientific grade CCD and EMCCD cameras. Several lines are available including Coolsnap®, Cascade®, and QuantEM® . Most recently developed is the newest camera, Evolve® .This camera is the FIRST scientific imaging solution that reads out pixel data in ELECTRONS, which results in more accurate and, more importantly, more reproducible data. Excellent camera choice for demanding low light bioimaging applications. Ask for a demo!

Coolsnap HQ2 - 14 bit , high resolution, excellent for fluorescence

Evolve® - Back-thinned, deep cooled, the ONLY calilbrated/quantitative camera on the market

Diagnostic Instruments made a name for themselves by making some of the first user-friendly mono and color digital cameras when most people were still using film.  Their innovative spirit is alive and well and they continue to impress with a full line of excellent cameras, as well as optical coupler components.

    Consider the following cameras:
RT3 Slider - Excellent color fidelity and high sensitivity in mono-mode
Insight - 4 megapixel, sensitive camera with fast live preview
Xplorer - Deeply cooled, 4 MegaPixel with 14 bit capture
Spot Flex - An amazing 64 MegaPixels of color information

Cooke cameras are an engineer's camera.  Cooke is eager to make the right camera for the right job, Cooke is your go-to company when you need to push one aspect of your experiment to the very limits.  Cooke cameras may include features like up to 4 gigabyte internal buffers and high speed data links.

    Consider the following cameras:
    PCO1200hs - 1.3MP at 636 frames per second. 1,360fps in VGA
PixelFly - Ultra Small, high speed and resolution cameras at low cost
SensiCam EM - 1k x 1k Highly sensitive cameras for high speed work
PCO4000 - 10 Megapixel and 14 bits for extreme data collecting

QImaging has always been a mainstay of our operation here.  QImaging cameras are small, self contained, cost effective, and always work the first time.  They are well integrated into many software packaged and offer simple interfaces with great performance.

    Consider the following cameras:
Exi Blue  - 14 bit, cooled, highly sensitive camera ,15 f/s full resoluttion(30MHz)         2000DC/4000DC - High resolution, -45oC camera, high dynamic range(80K e-/p, linear full well)
Rolera XR - Extended IR capabilities, fantastic sensitivity, large well capacity
Rolera MGi + - Very sensitive, back-thinned, EMCCD

Hamamatsu manufactures some of the highest performance cameras available, and maintains user friendly features.

    Consider the following cameras:
Orca-R2 - 12 or 16 bit, deeply cooled high resolution mono camera
    ImagEM - Back-thinned EM CCD
EB CCD - Electron Bombardment allows high frame rates on weak signals
Multi-Tap Cameras are also available for high throughput situations

Lumenera Corporation is a leading developer and manufacturer of digital cameras for industrial, scientific and security markets. Lumenera provides an extensive range of high-performance digital cameras with unique combinations of speed, resolution and sensitivity to satisfy the demands of today's imaging applications.

    Infinity 2  - 1.4MP , 1/2" CCD, color or mono

    Infinity X32 - 32 Megapixel CCD ,USB  2.0

    Infinity 4-11    -  11MP, 3.5 f/s , color or mono
